Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Textured Vegetable Protein TVP or 2 cups cooked lentils
  • 1 large onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 vegan burger buns

Instructions
 

Sauté Vegetables:

  • Heat a pan over medium heat. Add onions, bell pepper, and garlic and sauté until soft.

Add Protein:

  • Stir in the TVP or lentils with the vegetables.

Create Sauce:

  • Pour in the tomato sauce, add vegan Worcestershire sauce, mustard, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  • Simmer for about 10 minutes until the mixture thickens.

Assemble:

  • Spoon the hot mixture onto vegan buns and serve.
